The Opportunity: 

 

As the CACI Special Operations Forces Emerging Threats, Operations, and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) ISR Tactical Controller, you will provide SOCAFRICA persistent, multi-role, and cross-domain ISR capabilities that increase indications and warnings, enhance US security posture, enable freedom of movement, increase partnership capacity and interoperability, and foster stability throughout the AOR.  You will provide ISR Tactical Controller (ITC) subject matter expertise in ISR capabilities, Full Motion Video (FMV) Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) to support US Africa Command (AFRICOM) in a 24/7 environment.  Additionally, you will manage the planning, execution, and initial assessments for near real-time, tactical airborne collection asset integration.  Your support will range from standard Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (IPOE) through high priority/short fused taskings.   

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manages the planning, execution, and initial assessments for near real-time, tactical integration of airborne collection assets 

  • Applies expert knowledge of the Find, Fix Finish, Exploit, Analyze and Disseminate (F3EAD) and Intelligence Cycles; National Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) architecture; and the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) processes to integrate Intelligence Operations with Airborne ISR operations 

  • Coordinates Indications and Warning (I&W) development, refinement, and execution.  

  • Monitors and reports on adversary Operational Readiness & Disposition (OR&D); develops and maintains the Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (IOPE). 

  • Extracts, processes, and manages geospatial data to produce operational intelligence and combines geospatial products into fused intelligence products.  

  • Contributes to Joint intelligence planning to support operations, crisis actions, and deliberate planning. Serves as a liaison to other agencies and Combatant Commanders, as needed. 

  • Must be willing to work various shifts and hours to cover scheduled and emergent tactical ISR Operations.  

    

Qualifications: 

Required: 

 

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.  
  • Minimum 10 years of military/DOD experience. 
  • Minimum 5 years of ITC experience supporting Special Operations.   
  • Demonstrated extensive deployed ITC experience supporting CJSOTF, JSOTF, or similar SOF operations. 
  • Demonstrated completion of a SOF ITC Training Course. 
  • Demonstrated completion of a Military imagery analysis training course.  
  • Extensive experience in imagery collection platforms (national and theater level) and sensor types, including but not limited to, EO, SAR, and IR. 
  • Demonstrated experience in GEOINT, Imagery, Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), and FMV data exploitation. 
  • All-Source/ Multiple Intelligence (Multi-INT) Data Fusion Analytical efforts and production experience. 
  • Operational Planning and Mission Planning experience. 
  • Experience with numerous software applications, including: Video Bank, VPC, INSITU, ArcGIS, SOCET GXP, QT Modeler, Google Earth, Microsoft Office, Analyst Notebook, and Palantir. 
  • Expertise in the creation of extremely detailed analytical products, including Pattern of Life (POL), Order of Battle (OB) analysis, Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA). 
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written; Posses the ability to organize and deliver verbal and written products that achieve an exceptionally high standard.  
  • Critical and conceptual thinking skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight.  

 

Desired: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree or higher. 
  • Active-Duty military experience assigned to or directly supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations. 
  • Demonstrated recent (within the last five years) ITC support to deployed SOF.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,300 - 208,600 USD
