Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Client Authentication Support (CAS) Manager to join our Information Security Management Team. This role is focused on authentication best practices and tools; staying informed on industry evolution and bad actor threats; analysis of poor user behavior; opportunities for improvement; special handling of unique access requests; engagement with external clients experiencing challenges with authenticating to BBH platforms; recommending, solutioning and driving change.

The ISM CAS Manager is a key contributor in the Information Security Division, driving oversight, governance and advancement of secure authentication and access to BBH’s platforms.  This individual will act as a senior member of the team in user authentication activities and may lead a team of individuals.  This individual will be required to collaborate closely with their global peers and be open to change within the organization.  This individual is a strong global team member who sees the Division’s success as their own success.  This individual is committed to building a future with ISM and BBH.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Enhancing and instilling a strong security posture; protecting BBH and our clients’ data
  • Understanding, executing on and strengthening authentication best practices with BBH internal users and external clients
  • Understanding, owning and driving change of authentication tools and practices
  • Adhering to least privileged best practices in provisioning of access
  • Ensuring the individual and team members understand the why, what, how, and impact of activity executed on, lead by example
  • Monitoring activity to ensure timely remediation and identification of trends. 
  • Establishing continuous oversight and on-going reporting of key risk indicators and business drivers
  • Ensuring CAS business processes are well defined and align with industry standards, best practices and client needs
  • Contributing to an environment focused on best-in-class security, controls, adherence to procedures, policies, and challenging the status quo
  • Collaborating closely with their counterparts to ensure a consistent security posture and environment across the global organization
  • Collaborates, engages and influences globally both within defined organization and more broadly within the Division and the Protect Pillar

Process Improvement:

  • Leads process improvement initiatives and development of new workflows to improve security, efficiency, effectiveness and/or control
  • Ensures an organization focused on real-time execution, focused on process improvement and enhancing the overall product and meeting defined SLAs.
  • Ensures standard business processes are well defined and align with industry standards, best practices and client needs
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends. Measure performance and support data-driven decisions
  • Presenting key findings/recommendations/initiatives/progress in clear/concise communication forums
  • Create verbal and written presentations for technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications include:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent job experience
  • Strong planning and process improvement background
  • Proven ability to analyze (KPIs), interpret performance metrics and identify trends to drive continuous improvements
  • Creative and effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to collaborate with others, mentor and coach
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of security administration technology, tools, platforms a plus
  • Experience in the related field (Identity & Access Control, Information Security, Operational Excellence) a plus

   

Salary Range

$100,000 - $150,000 base salary + bonus

BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
