Job Description

ACCIONA is looking to appoint an IR Administrator (Part-Time) based in North London, Edmonton, E4 8JG

Overview:

To provide effective administrative and coordination support to the Industrial Relations (IR) function, ensuring employee relations processes are accurately maintained, casework is supported, and engagement with trade unions and employee representatives is well organised and compliant.

Working Conditions

This is an office-based, project-focused role. The position offers standard working hours of 20 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly over three or four days.

Key Responsibilities

-Minute taking within disciplinary meetings

-Assist with general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry

-Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to basic enquiries

-Manage emails and maintain organised inboxes

-Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars

-Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required

-Maintain accurate records and update databases

-Support team members with day-to-day administrative tasks

-Ensure the office environment remains organised and professional

-Coordinate meeting documentation as required.

Skills:

-Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

-Good organisational and time-management abilities

-Diary Management

-Basic IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) – PowerPoint essential

-Attention to detail and accuracy

-Willingness to learn and take initiative

- Ability to work under pressure

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience:

-You will have Grade 5/C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and mathematics or NVQ Level 3 equivalent (Essential)

- Previous administrative experience in HR, employee relations, or a similar environment (Desirable)

-Understanding of UK employment law and industrial relations processes (Desirable)
