Responsibilities

  • Play a critical role in supporting investment operations for the global investment office. Support routine operations as well as being an integral part of change management efforts.
  • Key liaison between portfolio managers, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Accounting functions. Be able to successfully manage long-term projects while keeping management apprised of progress.
  • Lead the onboarding of new investment accounts and managers and provide ongoing support throughout the investment lifecycle including tracking and processing funding requests.
  • Build relationships with contacts at banks, custodians, data/software vendors, administrators, and asset managers to troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Lead efforts to enhance the reporting framework for investment related KPIs including investment income and investment related expenses
  • Contribute to the development of automated reporting dashboards/lead sheets. Draw on past experience to streamline large datasets into improved management reporting deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.
  • 8+ years of investment accounting and/or middle office experience within an institutional investor or asset manager. Experience within Insurance Company strongly preferred but not required
  • Experience with Clearwater Analytics preferred but not required
  • Experience as the primary contact with banking partners and vendors required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Team player, with the ability to support time sensitive ad-hoc projects. Demonstrated the ability to effectively manage direct reports and work alongside other departments.
