Details of the Division and Team:    

Japan Macro Structurer offers structured solutions to our FI and Corporate clients by understanding clients’ needs, market environment, bank’s resource and various constraints. The person expected to work with sales who covers clients, and trading/structuring across regions in order to maximize our franchise value to deliver the most optimal transactions to our clients.

Structurer is measured by structuring RC which trace sales credit as well as trading pnl derived by a trade where each structurer contributed.

Firm has a good ambition to grow non-flow business in Japan and the person is expected to play a key role for its strategic planning as well as implementation with coordination with global stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities:

  • The person is expected to be familiar with markets, product as well as accounting/regulatory aspect of the transactions and be able to articulate it to clients as well as internal counterparties which includes global team and control functions.
  • We expect the person to proactively continue to do try-and-error to find a way to improve and grow our non-flow businesses.
  • The person needs to perform duties while complying with DB’s value and briefs. The perofmance will be measured by the number of red-flags, complaints, and other measurements agreed and set-up in the annual objectives settings.

Your skills and experience:

  • Experience working in the industry.
  • Knowledge of macro (IR, FX, EM and QIS) markets.
  • Understanding of macro environment including regulatory changes
  • Quantitative skills and detail oriented personnel
  • College diploma or degree.
  • JSDA (1st and 2nd) 
  • Business Level English
  • Native Legel Japanese
