Performs inventory control duties associated with the daily replenishment, receiving and accounting of Storeroom inventory supplies. Supports the Inventory Control processes and team with replenishment and management of code cart, care boxes and chargeable item replenishment. Performs inventory stock picking duties in support of suppling clinicians with the appropriate supplies for patient care. Performs supply stocking duties throughout the hospital as assigned. Responds to and fulfills supply related inventory questions from clinicians in a professional and curious manner.
Licensure or other certifications: Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack within 30 days of hire.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience: Two (2) years inventory control experience.

Performs daily assessment and replenishment of storeroom supplies
Ability to problem solve with minimal direction
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and follow department processes
Basic knowledge of inventory / distribution systems
Possess skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel
Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack
Knowledge of medical supply terminology
Possess technical skills to operate pc and hand-held devices
Unrelentingly detail oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
Able to work individually with minimal supervision or work as part of a team
Familiarity with MS Office applications: Outlook, Excel and Word
Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (hospital environment – warehouse, clinical areas, etc.)
Replenishes supplies in code carts and care boxes.
Accesses patient charge system in purchasing system to processes charges for items used from code carts and procedure trays.
Communicates with nursing representative concerning changes and updates to the code carts and procedure trays
Perform other storeroom duties related to distribution and purchasing of inventory as requested by management.
Conducts expiration date checks on all stock items.
Supports a safe working environment including compliance with all regulatory requirements and all other hospital, state, and federal safety policies.
