Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual...

To join our team as an Inventory Control and Logistics Lead. In this position you will own end‑to‑end inventory accuracy and control across multiple Canadian warehouse locations. This high‑visibility role leads monthly physical inventory counts, drives variance analysis and resolution, and delivers clear, executive‑level insights through advanced data analysis and reporting. Acting as the process owner for inventory standards, the role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Accounting, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial outcomes, strong controls, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate operates with high autonomy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to influence across sites without direct authority.

You’re a great fit if you can…

  • Lead monthly physical inventory counts across three Canadian warehouse locations (ON, BC, MB), including planning, on‑site execution, and post‑count reconciliation.

  • Travel quarterly to BC and Manitoba to support inventory counts, audits, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy, consistency, and compliance through hands‑on oversight and standardized execution.

  • Perform pre‑count preparation and post‑count variance analysis; consolidate results, document findings, and drive resolution.

  • Own monthly inventory transaction analysis and reporting using Excel and Power BI.

  • Analyze inventory trends, variances, and systemic issues; translate findings into clear, executive‑level insights and recommendations.

  • Present monthly inventory results, risks, and variances to senior operational and regional leadership.

  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to investigate discrepancies, support accurate financial reporting, and resolve COGS‑related issues.

  • Serve as process owner for inventory control, setting and maintaining standards, policies, SOPs, and best practices across all sites.

  • Influence local warehouse teams through dotted‑line partnership to ensure compliance with inventory controls and procedures.

  • Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements to strengthen accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.

  • Maintain inventory documentation, reporting, and reference materials in SharePoint.

  • Act as the central coordination point across Operations, Finance, Accounting, program teams, and warehouse partners.

  • Operate independently with full accountability for timelines, data integrity, and outcomes in a high‑visibility, high‑impact role.

Exciting candidates will have…

  • 5–8+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, operations analytics, or warehouse operations; multi‑site or national experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven expertise in physical inventory counts, variance analysis, and root‑cause investigation.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) and experience building or maintaining Power BI dashboards (preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track product flow, identify trends and risks, and translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise, executive‑level summaries.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence outcomes without direct authority.

  • Highly detail‑oriented self‑starter with strong ownership, initiative, and autonomy.

  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments and traveling quarterly to regional locations (BC and Manitoba).
