Scope of Position

The Environmental Services Department provides quality cleaning services for patients, staff and visitors of The Ohio State University Health System.  The storekeeper 2 is responsible for ensuring that the department has the supplies necessary to perform daily functions.
 

Position Summary

The storekeeper 2 plans, orders, organizes, schedules and performs storeroom work in the receipt, storage and distribution of supplies, chemicals and equipment for the Environmental Services Department.
 

Minimum Education Required
Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience
 

Required Qualifications
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and to read and write simple sentences plus:  1 course in mgmt./supervision (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in record keeping (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in bookkeeping (or 1 mo. exp.); 3 courses in inventory control (or 3 mos. exp.); or equivalent.
