Inventory Clerk - 12 Month Maternity Cover

  • Salary: £26,566.00

  • Hours: 39 per week

  • Working Days: Monday- Friday

  • Times: 8am- 4pm

Job Purpose:

To accurately verify the actual stock balance and expiry date of stocked lines via counts and audits performed according to procedure and at agreed rates, and carry out other Inventory related clerical duties.

Key Accountabilities

    • Raising credit claims direct with suppliers.

    • Arranging supplier uplifts.

    • Matching and filing of supplier inbound paperwork.

    • Take action on Pip Code Changes and Returns Date Checks.

    • Product Recall / Stop Distribution action and reporting.

    • Review the Inventory Adjustment Report (INV001) on a daily basis, giving reasons for adjustments shown and completing the relevant details in the electronic INV001 Tracker.

    • Process daily outbound IWTs and related Manifest to an agreed volume that assemblers are capable of completing and as per the relevant GDP.

    • Review and resolve any outstanding inbound IWTs and charge backs as per the relevant GDP.

    • Meet all Health and Safety requirements.

    • Carry out any reasonable request as determined by Management.

Key Working Relationships:

This role includes working closely with other staff within the Inventory department and other employees and management within and outside of the Service Centre.

Level of Decision Making:

On completion of training this role does have some autonomy in decision making.  The person employed in this role will be expected to use their initiative when dealing with BOH discrepancies and other queries in conjunction with other members of the Inventory department.

Additional Information:

The Job Holder will be required to undertake regular rotation to other roles within the department as part of continuity plans to ensure trained cover is maintained.
