Education required:  Diploma, BS degree in management/engineering, life science, or a related field – or holding a diploma in relevant disciplines.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in Italian and English

Expected Start date: March 2026

Internship period: 6 months (+ 6 months in specific cases)

What will you do?

We are looking for a well-organized and independent individual to join our R&D teams, supporting fundamental processes for the delivery of our new vaccines programs.

The resource will be part of the analytical R&D department with the key objective to improve and manage critical sample flows through the laboratory for testing, key accountabilities include:

  • Physically responsible for dislocation of samples and delivery to testing groups.

  • Organize and execute samples clearance after testing.

  • Organize samples in fridges systematically and ensure seamless communication with relevant platforms.

  • Supports periodic fridges management and clearance of samples after approval,

  • Interacts with relevant stakeholders for monitoring of shipments from other GSK sites, escalates expected delays and issues.

  • Organize and facilitate sample shipments between sites,

  • Supports ad hoc simple laboratory tasks such as aliquoting to support batch testing,

  • Essential ways of working of an R&D testing lab both in non-GMP and GMP environment,

  • Work side by side with scientists working on developing next generation vaccines,
