In the SSG tribe, our mission is to provide state-of-the-art solutions to retain our status as the wholesale banking leader in financing our clients’ sustainable transition. We collaborate with professionals dedicated to operationalizing our sustainability strategy and delivering cutting-edge solutions. Our team focuses on measuring and managing emissions, client transition plans, other sustainability-related data, and business intelligence to steer our business.
The team
Within the Client Engagement & Transition Area, we discover and deliver the products which enable ING Front Office employees to engage with its clients and finance their transition towards a sustainable future. This involves data analytics and insights, score and frameworks development as well as workflow tools, delivered in an intuitive way.
It’s an ever-growing area, where data, analytics, legislation, sustainability experts, banking experts and multi-disciplinary product teams come together to brainstorm, form policies and deliver products that make this complex ESG world intuitive and set ING as a pioneer in Sustainability.
We are a tribe that is fully aligned with ING’s goals, that puts our customers at the center, with autonomous, happy & empowered teams to deliver products that our users love. Our product group is design centric and we work in dual track between discovery and delivery activities. We manage product development from idea to scale and track their impact, in an iterative manner.
As an Data / Business Analyst Intern in this area, you will work in a multi-disciplinary product team together with your Product Lead, Designer, Data Analysts, Full Stackers and Data Engineering. You will also be closely working with the PMs and designers in the tribe, to enable discovery and design across the entire ESG product area group.
Project
In 2026, our team, together with Global Sustainability and ESG Risk are engaging in updating and improving the data and frameworks used in client engagement. We’re aiming to improve the methodology of our Client Transition Plan scoring and making this more actionable for front office, such that relationships with our clients become stronger.
Help us explore and define the new data models, as well as making it available in specific dashboards like PowerBI, as well as support the scoping of our clients for further automations.
