Help us get ahead of disease together with our Plant Operations Improvement (Pilot Plant) Internship, 2026: 

Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Engineering discipline with a focus in Chemical Engineering

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a full-time credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship period: July to December 2026

This role sits in our Jurong R&D Pilot Plant.


What will you do?

  • The student will be involved in routine Operations activities as well as improvement programs

  • Office based activities include Risk Assessments, SOPs, Logsheets and Guidance documents etc.

  • Improvement programs include Leaning out of Turnaround workflow, expediting materials management activities and upskilling of operational personnel through generation of guidance documents

  • Activities will require plant walkdowns to review existing workflow and data analysis to derive the optimum / more feasible solution

What will you learn?

  • Office based document reviews/generation

  • Plant based site survey for scoping and implementation

  • Working with shopfloor team on deriving synergistic solutions

  • Working on designing activities to improve Safety and Quality Culture
