Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT) supports every product from Phase I to maturity, with over 10,000 employees worldwide. In Global Technical Development (PTD), we develop creative technical solutions to efficiently transform scientific ideas into products, ensuring reliable delivery of quality medicines.
Synthetic Molecules Technical Development (PTDC) focuses on the technical development of synthetic pipeline molecules and the manufacture of Drug Substance and Drug Product for clinical studies. PTDC combines expertise across development and analytical sciences and collaborates closely with Research & Early Development (pRED/gRED) and the synthetic molecules commercial manufacturing network.
Supporting process development of oligonucleotide manufacturing, focusing on downstream processes
Developing preparative chromatographic purification processes, including screening conditions and performing purifications
Conducting analytical tests to evaluate purity and quality of products
Analyzing and interpret experimental data to optimize processes
Collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful process implementation
Participating in team meetings, problem-solving discussions, and present results
Documenting experimental procedures, results, and observations clearly and accurately
Gaining hands-on experience through a 12-month internship in the biopharmaceutical industry
Receiving mentorship, training, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment
Enrolled as a Master’s student or completed Master’s studies within the last year in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of organic chemistry, chromatography, and process chemistry
Hands-on laboratory experience
Initiative-driven, responsible, flexible, and team-oriented working style
Ideally, experience with oligonucleotide chemistry, chromatography, or ultrafiltration
Fluent in English or German
