Internship Digital Content Expert

The ING Wholesale Banking Content Expert team is looking for a curious, digital savvy intern who enjoys working at the intersection of content, communication, marketing, and technology, and who preferably has experience managing or creating websites.

What will you do?

In this internship, you will be part of a small team of digital content experts. The team develops ideas for ingwb.com, advises other departments and empowers them to optimise their content. The aim is to activate new and existing clients, leading to higher client satisfaction, loyalty, and increased revenue.

Together with the team, you will work on creating new content experiences and customer journeys across our channels. You will also learn to support content management, copywriting and reviewing, data analysis, SEO/AEO and online promotions.

You will work on:

  • Creating and improving content experiences and customer journeys
  • Content creation, editing, and reviewing
  • Using AI tools responsibly, balancing efficiency with human judgment
  • Content management in a CMS environment
  • Analysing content performance using data and insights
  • Working with SEO and AEO
  • Collaborating with UX, analytics, and domain experts

The Team

The Content Team is part of the Centre of Expertise UX & Content within the Tribe Digital Delivery Management in ING Wholesale Banking. The tribe aims to deliver an industry‑leading digital client experience across all ING Wholesale Banking touchpoints.

The channels owned by the tribe include the ingwb.com website, an internet banking portal (InsideBusiness Portal) and a mobile app (InsideBusiness App).

  • Is enrolled at a Dutch HBO or university.
  • Has excellent English communication skills.
  • Is curious, proactive and eager to learn.
  • Is comfortable experimenting with AI tools while using them responsibly.
  • Has an interest in SEO/AEO and content performance.
  • Is a team player and can work independently.
  • Is available at least four days per week.
