Job Description
We are seeking an International Sales Effectiveness Lead to lead programs that equip international sales teams with necessary tools, data, and resources to help boost sales growth across Motorola’s portfolio streamline CRM administration work. This role will partner with sales, sales operations, and enablement teams to develop data-driven solutions that transform the sales process and provide new insights for sales teams operating outside North America.
Serving as an advocate, this role will tailor global programs to regional needs or help identify regional process changes, requiring detailed knowledge of international sales goals and operations. The role will translate business needs, user feedback, and strategic objectives into specific requirements, primarily for the Salesforce platform. In addition, this role will require gathering grassroots ideas cross-regionally, and using them to identify global pain points or opportunities that can be addressed through new projects.
Responsibilities include identifying improvements, defining solutions, building roadmaps, identifying key data sets, and assisting with implementation. Success will be measured by solution adoption and business impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop a keen understanding of the International Sales and Sales Ops processes for both direct and channel teams.
- Own the development, implementation, and roll-out of new business processes and Salesforce solutions that help international sellers leverage the platform to its full potential.
- Gather, understand, and document business requirements for Salesforce development initiatives and serve as the voice of international sales teams throughout the process.
- Build and maintain a trusted relationship with front line sellers, sales leaders, operations leaders, and the extended IT team
- Advocate for the needs of the international sales and sales operations teams within the Sales Effectiveness team and the broader IT and business groups.
- Gather and relay feedback to continuously improve the Salesforce experience and enablement strategy for international sales teams.
- Understand processes and solutions developed for specific regions and tailor them for implementation in other parts of the world in order to meet regional-specific requirements
- Work closely with the different enablement teams to put together training and communication programs to educate international sales teams on new and existing Salesforce applications.
- Assist in generation of Salesforce reports to support the international sales and sales operations teams.
Skills & Abilities
- Understand user needs and combine them with business objectives and strategy to define specific project requirements.
- Experience with the the Salesforce Platform
- Exceptional understanding of the sales process and how Salesforce can enable sales success
- Good Project Management skills in the form of prioritizing, scheduling, and communicating project status and goals
- Continuous evaluation of sales processes and how to remove administrative burden from both front line sellers and sales managers/leaders.
- Able to stay apprised of developing technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, and new Salesforce features, and apply them to modernize Motorola’s business
- Work in a globally dispersed team, accommodating different time zones and local business requirements
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to engage with architects and technical SMEs
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutioning and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, roadmapping, enterprise transformation strategy, and executive-level requirement gathering sessions
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture, define a vision, and execute on it.
- Understanding of IT Agile development, writing, and submitting Jira stories
- Maintain working relationships with intra-organization groups including sales, sales operations, IT, and any others required to complete projects..
- Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple functions/levels; adept at mediating conflict and fostering healthy dialogue
- Tableau knowledge a plus
Basic Requirements
- 5+ years of direct experience delivering and/or overseeing development of software solutions OR 5+ years of experience in a sales or sales support role
- Salesforce platform experience
- Strong understanding of the sales process
- Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science related degree preferred
