Join UQ’s International Marketing and Communications team within the Future Students and Admissions Division and play a pivotal role in shaping how The University of Queensland is experienced by prospective students around the world. This purpose‑driven role supports a significant uplift in international recruitment activity and contributes to UQ’s global reputation through thoughtful, coordinated and high‑quality content. Working in a collaborative, inquisitive and fast‑paced environment, you will bring clarity, consistency and storytelling excellence across international recruitment channels while partnering closely with campaign specialists, faculty marketing teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end production of international marketing collateral including International Study Guides, brochures, flyers, videos and digital assets.

  • Writing, editing and proofreading high-quality content for advertisements, editorials, profiles, web articles and promotional materials across multiple channels.

  • Producing UQ international agent and partner newsletters aligned to recruitment priorities and campaign objectives.

  • Developing and managing a content calendar in collaboration with the campaign team, including coordination of translation and typesetting.

About You

You are an inquisitive and detail-oriented communications professional who enjoys working at the intersection of storytelling, strategy and global engagement. You bring strong judgement, creative confidence and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will have:

  • Qualifications equivalent to an undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • At least four years’ experience in content development, marketing or communications roles.

  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and editing international-facing marketing content in clear, engaging, plain English.

  • Proven experience producing prospectuses, brochures, newsletters, digital content and other promotional materials.

  • Exceptional proofreading skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • The ability to work independently, take initiative and contribute positively within a team environment.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the higher education sector.

  • Experience working as part of a team, preferably in a tertiary marketing environment which recruits international students.

  • Fluency in languages other than English.
