International Business Operations Senior Manager

Job Summary:

The International Business Operations Senior Manager is a key contributor in modernizing reporting, analytics, and operational insights across Choice’s four international regions (EMEA, APAC, CALA, and Canada). This role strengthens connectivity between operational performance and financial outcomes, elevates visibility into market trends, pipeline health, and strategic initiatives, and supports scalable international growth through repeatable reporting practices and cross-regional analytics. The position collaborates closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

International Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and manage end-to-end reporting infrastructure for international operations, including quarterly business reviews, monthly reporting packages, and strategic dashboards.

  • Produce clear, actionable insights on market performance, operational trends, and pipeline health for leadership decision-making.

  • Establish and maintain repeatable analytics processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across regions.

Operational Insights & Financial Modeling

  • Build operational analyses to inform EBITDA performance, royalty fee stability, pipeline accretion, and other key financial drivers.

  • Partner with Finance, Development, and regional leaders to create integrated operational-financial models for forecasting and strategic planning.

  • Identify operational levers impacting P&L outcomes and recommend actions to optimize performance.

Systems Enhancements & Data Governance

  • Coordinate enhancements across internal platforms and reporting systems to reduce manual workflows and improve data quality.

  • Define data governance standards for international reporting, including alignment on Net Unit Growth (NUG), RevPAR, pipeline metrics, and other KPIs.

  • Collaborate with the Technology and Analytics teams to ensure international requirements are prioritized and executed.

Cross-Functional Program Support

  • Support major international initiatives and enterprise special projects.

  • Build strong relationships across Development, Finance, Strategy, and regional operational teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Qualifications:

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in international business operations, strategy, financial analysis, or business analytics.

  • Demonstrated ability to modernize reporting frameworks and drive analytical insights in global or multi-market environments.

  • Hospitality industry experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with BI platforms (Tableau preferred) and reporting tools.

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities.

  • Experience with system integrations, data flows, and operational platform enhancements.

  • Salesforce experience preferred; familiarity with hotel systems a plus.

  • Excellent communication and executive-ready presentation skills.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, operate in a fast-paced global environment, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Detail-oriented with a bias toward process discipline and continuous improvement.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Finance/Analytics credentials) preferred but not required.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $139,604 to $164,305 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).
