Internal Wholesaler Mass Markets, Affinity Markets

We are looking for an Internal Affinity Wholesaler to join our dynamic team and partner with some of the brightest minds in the industry. The Manulife Affinity Markets Sales team collaborates with financial advisors across the country to offer creative insurance solutions, including health & dental, travel insurance, and simplified issue critical illness and disability products.

As an Internal Affinity Wholesaler supporting the Mass Markets Ontario and Western Sales region, you will nurture existing advisor relationships while cultivating new ones, with a focus on promoting client‑centric solutions that drive Affinity Markets growth. You are a proactive, sales‑oriented professional with strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and a passion for continuous improvement. You are coachable, collaborative, and able to think critically.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively make outbound calls to financial advisors in the mass market territory to develop, maintain, and expand strong working relationships.

  • Engage with advisors daily to support key partnerships and uncover new sales opportunities.

  • Organize and manage daily tasks in a way that supports productivity metrics and the needs of the region.

  •  Handle incoming advisor inquiries related to case consultations, illustrations, product support, training, and more.

  • Leverage peers, external wholesalers, internal tools, data, and analytics to identify and execute sales opportunities through effective business planning (ideally in 90‑day cycles).

  •  Build and maintain detailed advisor profiles and activity records using Salesforce.com.

  •  Collaborate with colleagues across teams, departments, and territories to share leads, insights, and business‑building ideas.

  • Conduct advisor trainings virtually, and, when needed, during evenings or occasional weekends.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of insurance sales experience

  • LLQP designation preferred (or in process)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including intermediate level of experience using Excel

  • Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail

  • Strong social and relationship-building skills

  • Well-organized, self-starter with high energy and creativity

  • Creative marketing and problem-solving skills

  • Excels in a collaborative and challenging environment with a strong desire to win

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
