Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.
The Role:
Internal Control Coordinator role aims to strengthen our control environment and support effective risk management across the organization. This role will lead risk assessments, process reviews, and audit activities, while acting as a key partner to business stakeholders on internal controls, business continuity, and information lifecycle management.
What You'll Do:
Lead company-wide and departmental operational and strategic risk assessment activities, identifying key risks and recommending mitigation actions.
Lead end-to-end process reviews, documenting current state, identifying control gaps, and proposing improvements.
Plan and conduct audits as required by local management, from scoping and fieldwork through reporting and follow-up.
Coordinate Business Continuity Plan activities, ensuring plans are current, tested, and aligned with corporate standards.
Coordinate Information Lifecycle Management activities, supporting compliance with data retention, privacy, and security requirements.
Track open issues and action plans to closure, partnering with process owners to determine practical and sustainable solutions.
Provide guidance on the execution of control self-assessments, ensuring consistency and quality of results.
Deliver training and awareness sessions on internal controls, risk, and compliance topics as appropriate.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)
Educational and Experience Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant degree.
1 ~ 3 years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk management, or a related field
Professional certifications (Certified Internal Auditor - CIA) is a plus
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of internal control frameworks.
Experience with process documentation, control design, and testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with stakeholders at different levels and functions. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
