About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and execute Quilter’s internal communications strategy and initiatives, to support our culture of ambition, accountability and learning and connect people to our refreshed purpose and values.

As Internal Communications Executive, you’ll support our Internal Communications Managers and play a key role in delivering internal communications plans across the business - helping drive Quilter’s strategic priorities and business requirements. You’ll also work closely with the Employee Experience and Engagement Manager to improve colleague experience and the effectiveness of our communications.

This role will be varied and span all business functions, ensuring each Internal Communications Manager has the support needed to deliver impactful communications and campaigns.  You’ll work to deliver exceptional and creative employee engagement that help the business to achieve its strategic ambitions by engaging and inspiring colleagues through effective communications that deliver on our people strategy and support the evolution of our organisation.

You will have a creative mindset and enjoy coming up with fresh ideas to make complex information easy to understand and more visually appealing for colleagues. You’ll be keen to learn about and use new tools and technology, such as AI, to help us communicate more effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development and delivery of communications and internal engagement events.

  • Writing content such as newsletters and intranet articles.

  • Creating, inputting, and maintaining communication plans.

  • Helping to run our all-colleague conference.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert in our communications tools and channels (e.g., SharePoint, Poppulo, TriplePlay) - playing an active role in ensuring we reach our varied audiences effectively via these platforms.

  • Taking responsibility for routine communications, ensuring news and updates are delivered clearly and promptly.

You’ll develop a strong understanding of our audiences and support the delivery of key messages tailored to their needs, ensuring communications are outcome-focused and aligned with business priorities. Building strong relationships with stakeholders - including HR, Corporate Affairs, and Marketing – will be key.

About You

We’re open to candidates with some experience in internal communications, PR, or marketing, as well as graduates with the energy and motivation to learn quickly. Finance industry experience is not required. You will:

  • Be highly organised, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

  • Ideally have experience in planning, creating, and delivering communication and engagement plans.

  • Have strong writing and editing skills, delivering clear and concise messages to varied audiences.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence.

  • Be driven, proactive, a quick learner, and delivery-focused, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Be passionate about your work and understand its impact on your audiences.
