The Transformation Office will serve as the cross-functional lynch pin not only across GIFS but also with key partners/clients. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a unique blend of communications strategy setting and operational execution capabilities and will also be adept at partnering with key stakeholders to identify, manage, and execute on communication needs while proactively managing risks and interdependencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute an integrated communications and change management roadmap for priority initiatives, ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy and GIFS transformation priorities
- Coordinate with internal communications partners to leverage enterprise channels and optimize reach and engagement and ensure transformation-specific communications are in sync with the broader IT / sub-divisional communications priorities
- Partner with other members of the GIFS Transformation Office, as well as GIFS Senior Leaders, to translate program and project objectives into clear communication outcomes, success measures, and key messages while also understanding and mitigating risks
- Create high-quality, population-relevant communications artifacts across a variety of channels and mediums (e.g., emails, leader messages, FAQs, intranet content, presentations, talking points, and toolkits)
- Define transformation-related changes and ensure proper coordination with key stakeholders (HR, Finance, etc.) to both execute on change and anticipate issues/risks to be mitigated
- Develop and implement methods to define, measure, and improve communication effectiveness
Qualifications
- Five years related work experience, Three years consulting and delivering internal communications experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively, with a track record of establishing credibility and influencing stakeholders across an organization
- Proven planning, organizational, and time‑management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines
- Proficiency with modern communication and collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365, enterprise intranet platforms, and visual design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, or equivalent)
- A proactive, growth‑oriented mindset, characterized by initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning
- Experience leading or supporting communications within an IT division and/or large‑scale transformation environment is preferred, but not required
