Internal Audit Intern (Summer 2026)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The internal audit intern will assist the team with various financial, compliance, and operational audits in accordance with accepted professional standards in order to determine compliance with SKECHERS, USA, Inc. policies and procedures and adherence to applicable laws and regulations. In this internship you will develop strong links with your department’s peers and leaders, while learning the necessary skills that will help to improve, or complete Skechers initiatives and projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work with Internal Audit team members and select financial and operational personnel in performing audit tasks.
  • Learn about risk-based audit function across various operational processes.
  • Contribute to internal audit documentation and testing while working closely with the US based team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Interest in pursuing Certified Public Account (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles/standards.
  • Ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office suite software programs.
  • Previous internship experience or coursework in auditing is preferred.
  • Anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
  • Available to participate in our internship program from end of May/June to August/September 2026 in our Manhattan Beach, CA corporate office.

The pay range for this role is $25/hr.
