Hyster-Yale Materials Handling a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for creative and talented Innovation Engineering Interns located on the campus of University of Portland.   Individuals will have a positive influence on the development and validation of new products.   Each individual will interact with other University of Portland Innovation Engineer Interns and HYMH’s Innovation Team

Responsibilities:

• Design and validation activities to ensure that the engineering outputs meet the quality, reliability, performance, and cost requirements for forklift truck operator assist system.
• Collaborate and provide support to the Platform, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Marketing groups engaged in the project.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing BS in Computer Science / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
• Innovative thinking
