Job Description
As an Intern, Test (Automation), you will join an engineering test team supporting industrial software and device-related solutions. This is a learning-oriented role designed for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on exposure to software testing, PLC-related tools, and Add-On Profile (AOP) validation. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will contribute to day-to-day testing activities and gradually build your technical and professional skills.
• Execute basic test activities for PM5000 Add-On Profiles (AOP) following provided test cases and guidance.
• Assist in testing and validation of PM5000-related functionality within industrial software environments.
• Participate in ALP development and validation activities related to PLC programming debug tools (learning-focused).
• Log test results, observations, and defects clearly and accurately.
• Work closely with testers and developers to understand requirements, test objectives, and expected behavior.
• Follow team processes and actively learn software testing fundamentals and tools.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software concepts and strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (such as C, C++, Python, or similar) is a plus, but not required to be advanced.
• Ability to follow instructions, document work clearly, and communicate effectively within a team.
• Interest in software testing, industrial software, or automation-related technologies.
• Exposure to PLC concepts, automation systems, or industrial software through coursework or projects.
• Basic knowledge of software testing concepts (manual testing, test cases, defect reporting).
• Internship, lab project, or coursework experience related to software development or testing.
• Comfortable reading basic technical documentation in English.
• Hands-on experience with real industrial software and device-related testing scenarios.
• Mentorship from experienced test and software engineers.
