Job Description
Planning the service center activities to
Create excellent customer experience.
Progress service jobs and provide information to all key stakeholders,
Safeguard job priority, contractual obligations & customer expectations,
Planning and coordination of internal service requests with customers, Field Service Engineers and/or external service providers.
Planning and daily management of service engineers work schedules.
Manage engineers' further actions/leads from service reports.
Ensure that jobs are executed according to importance in close cooperation with Team Managers.
Support and input complex/nonstandard quotations for Field Service to meet company/divisional targets.
Ensure timely control of order backlog and credit queries.
In some cases, it is responsible for key responsibilities within warehouse and logistics in the Service Centre.
Daily management of Field Service Engineer's work schedules optimizing resources, travel activities, balancing workload and utilizing Field Service Engineers according to their area of expertise.
Ensure that jobs are executed with high customer focus, in a timely manner and according to local prioritization criteria.
Execution of pre-mobilizataion safety checks with customers according to global standards
Control Field Service order backlog and ensure consistent flow of relevant information from Field Service to Customer Service allowing for timely customer invoicing.
Monitoring of special tools, certifications, work permits and vaccinations.
Quality management and continuous improvement
Quality management (QCP, QMP, Technical Reports)
Management of warranty claim
Management of NCR
Support with continuous improvement initiatives
Tool control
Certification and calibration
Inspection of all tools.
Arranging services of tools
Purchasing
Generating of PR and PO
Reviewing of Service Center suppliers
Workplace & Hierarchy
The position is in Johannesburg; Service Centre South Africa and the work area is mainly focused on the installed base across the South & East Africa. The position will be reporting to Service Operations Manager located in Johannesburg.

Background
Education Qualification-Diploma/Degree in Industrial Engineering
Strong communication skills in English, (spoken and written), are essential, along with an understanding of Microsoft Office products.
Be able to work on Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with minimal supervision.
