JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE AS AN INTERN

As a Network Planning Intern, you will support the development and optimization of the airline’s route network through data analysis, market research, and cross-functional coordination. This role offers hands-on exposure to how airline routes are evaluated, scheduled, and grown to ensure long-term commercial success and operational feasibility.

You will work closely with experienced network planners, analysts, revenue managers, and commercial leaders, contributing to strategic projects that shape the airline’s future.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

1. Route Performance & Business Analysis

  • Assist in analyzing route performance across traffic, revenue, cost, and competitive metrics.

  • Support development of route business cases for new routes or frequency changes.

  • Conduct basic market research on travel demand trends, competitor capacity, and macroeconomic indicators.

  • Help benchmark the airline’s network performance against regional competitors.

2. Data Analytics & Insights

  • Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python.

  • Help build models to forecast demand, evaluate route profitability, or analyze customer travel patterns.

  • Interpret data and highlight insights for commercial teams such as Revenue Management or Marketing.

3. Project Support & Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating cross-functional projects related to network changes, capacity planning, and schedule adjustments.

  • Help track project milestones, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

  • Participate in internal meetings, document notes, and support preparation of presentations for senior stakeholders.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Aviation, Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Business, Statistics, or related fields.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus.

  • Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how the airline business works.

  • Comfortable working with data and presenting insights clearly.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
