What You Will Do

MCE Program Finance provides overall support to MCE programs in order to achieve P&W financial targets. Examples of such support includes financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, decision support, and partner collaborations.

MCE Engine Programs includes PW2000, PW4000 (all models), JT8D, JT9D, V2500, and Industrial Engines. This role focuses primarily on OCE programs and excludes V2500. OCE programs supports fleets of PW2000 and PW4000 engines installed on Boeing and Airbus aircraft including popular models like B757, B767, B777, and A330. These models are flown by hundreds of airlines around the world.

This role is focused on supporting various aspects of OCE P&L including financial reporting and analysis to achieve financial goals.

  • Supporting financial analysis of Engineering and Development expenses across OCE programs including monthly actuals, understanding key drivers, and forecasting future months using run rates and working with the OCE Program Office
    • Activities include: Monthly Line Item Report, Open Commitments Analysis, IDWA Forecasting, assisting in preparation of the monthly management letter (MML) and long range plan (LRP), preparation of E&D breakdown for partners (MTU), and other analysis based on programs needs (utilizing various SAP transactions to obtain data)
       
  •  Preparing analysis of Excess & Obsolete inventory across OCE Programs
    • Activities include: Working with E&O file and building pivot tables in order to understand month to month movements and identifying key drivers
       
  •  Paying vendors
    • Activities include: submitting Epay requests
       
  •  Cost Center Analysis
    • Activities include: obtaining information from SAP, analyzing data in Excel, and preparing pivot tables for OCE and GP7000 cost centers
       
  •  GP7000 monthly billing
    • Activities include: obtaining information from SAP, preparing monthly invoices in Excel in support of GP7000 program finance
       
  •  Business Cases & Financial Impact Analysis
    • Activities include: participating in discussions in support of various business cases and perform financial modeling and decision support
       
  • Special Projects
    • Activities include: looking up purchase orders in SAP, looking up NIC values for parts in SAP, understanding WBS project structures in SAP, and analyzing line item actuals of specific projects

  • Enrolled in a degree program

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Knowledge of SAP, HFM, Epay, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
