Join our global project team as an Intern – IT Software Engineer within the EA EPS team! In this role, you will work in a dynamic, Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. You’ll contribute to projects that empower Micron’s Supply Chain team and enhance the customer experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Support IT solution projects from initiation to completion.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced, iterative development environment to deliver high-quality solutions and drive successful deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, SCRUM teams, Supply Chain, PMO) to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and achieve project objectives.
  • Gain domain expertise in Supply Planning processes and systems.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in supply chain planning systems and workflows.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain projects, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with organizational goals and business strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, partners, and stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
  • Serve as an internal consultant for IT Supply Planning, specializing in integration with Blue Yonder and Kinaxis planning tools.
  • Gather and refine requirements from Micron supply chain teams to design accurate data models.
  • Deliver large-scale, high-value projects using established delivery methodologies and leveraging in-house and vendor systems.
  • Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities, solution approaches, and supply chain best practices.
  • Conduct testing and training sessions for new system implementations to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Utilize Gen AI capabilities to challenge the status quo and enhance efficiency and effectiveness in supply chain planning.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Management Analytics, or Computer Science/IT. Cannot graduate prior to September 2026.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and supply planning processes.
  • Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, Java, and Python.
  • Proficiency in data access, extraction, and analytics.
  • Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to adhere to weekly tasks and deadlines.
  • Ambitious, driven, and adaptable to changing priorities.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and the semiconductor value chain.
  • Prior experience or certifications in Blue Yonder or Kinaxis (a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to manage timelines and deliverables rigorously to ensure on-time project completion.
