Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Design Development: Support the creation of detailed illustrations and design concepts, guided by experienced designers to supplement existing guidelines.

  • Collaborative Design Refinement: Work alongside global teams to refine and improve design solutions, with mentorship from your supervisor.

  • Participate in Professional Meetings: Engage in meetings and presentations, learning from feedback and insights shared by industry professionals.

  • Material & Furnishing Research: Assist in researching and sourcing suitable materials and furnishings, gaining knowledge in design selection and application.

  • Project Assistance and Support: Participate and engage in diverse ad-hoc projects within the lyf team, collaborating across cross-functional activities, roles, and responsibilities to enhance your learning experience throughout the internship.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Product Design or equivalent.

  • Interest in hospitality design and planning is a bonus.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling and rendering software.

  • Strong understanding of design principles and interior architecture.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Creative with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.

  • Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus.
