Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in Design Development: Support the creation of detailed illustrations and design concepts, guided by experienced designers to supplement existing guidelines.
Collaborative Design Refinement: Work alongside global teams to refine and improve design solutions, with mentorship from your supervisor.
Participate in Professional Meetings: Engage in meetings and presentations, learning from feedback and insights shared by industry professionals.
Material & Furnishing Research: Assist in researching and sourcing suitable materials and furnishings, gaining knowledge in design selection and application.
Project Assistance and Support: Participate and engage in diverse ad-hoc projects within the lyf team, collaborating across cross-functional activities, roles, and responsibilities to enhance your learning experience throughout the internship.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Product Design or equivalent.
Interest in hospitality design and planning is a bonus.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling and rendering software.
Strong understanding of design principles and interior architecture.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Creative with a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus.
