Location: Basel, Switzerland; #LI-Hybrid (Fridays remote)
This internship is for 6 to 12 months and offers the opportunity to start immediately.
Please note that we can only accept applicants who are eligible to work in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
CT scan & Tolerance Analysis:
Perform dimensional checks and confirm theoretical assumptions using CT scanning technology.
Analyze tolerance stack-ups to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Power Spring Development:
Support material selection and process definition for power spring components.
Collaborate on prototype testing and performance evaluation.
Medical Device Characterization:
Characterize assembly performance of plastic components and sub-assemblies.
Document findings and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Essential Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with medical devices is a strong plus.
Fluent in English is a must; knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Desirable Requirements:
Familiarity with tolerance analysis and mechanical testing is desirable.
CAD knowledge (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus.
