We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Economics & Investment Strategy team under the Investments function. The internship offers a compelling opportunity to gain first-hand experience of macroeconomic and investment strategy research in Asia’s leading private sector asset manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Participate in macroeconomic research focused on generating expectations for asset market performance.
• Perform detailed analysis of earnings surprise and earnings revisions strategies in Asian markets and build real time analytical dashboards across equity, fixed income, and currency markets.
• Implement this analysis and tools in R/Python.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Currently pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid grounding in macroeconomic/finance theory.
• University level econometrics and R/Python programming skills preferred.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv Datastream and CEIC would be an advantage
• Passion for financial market research and attention to detail.
