Intern Designer (Brand, Motion & UI)

We’re looking for a curious, motivated Intern Designer with a passion for brand, motion, and emerging digital design. This role is ideal for someone eager to build strong foundations across visual identity, motion design, UI basics, and design systems thinking, while learning how modern creative teams work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the creation of brand identities and visual systems across multiple touchpoints

• Assisting with motion design and animation for digital, social, and brand applications

• Contributing to UI design work, including layouts, components, and screen-based design

• Helping build and apply design systems (typography, colour, grids, motion rules, components)

• Working with photography, illustration, motion, and layout to bring ideas to life

• Using and experimenting with AI-powered design tools as part of concepting, iteration, and production

• Preparing assets for different platforms, formats, and roll-outs

• Collaborating with designers, motion artists, and strategists across teams

Required Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of design fundamentals: typography, colour, layout, and motion

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Working knowledge of Figma (including components and basic system thinking)

• Basic to intermediate motion design skills using After Effects

• Understanding of motion principles: timing, rhythm, storytelling

• Basic video editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)

• Familiarity with designing for screens and digital platforms (web, mobile, social)

• Awareness of AI design tools (e.g. generative image, motion, layout, or ideation tools) and a willingness to learn how to use them responsibly and creatively

Beneficial (But Not Essential)

• Introductory knowledge of 3D tools (Cinema 4D, Blender)

• Understanding of video optimisation (compression, GIFs, banners, exports)

• Exposure to UI/UX principles and interaction design basics
