Job summary

We are looking for an Inside Partner Account Manager, Americas to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with assigned partners, driving revenue growth and long-term business success. You will support partners with quotes, pricing, product information and deal progression and  deal progression.

You will also identify new sales opportunities within existing partner account and work closely with internal teams (sales, support, finance) to ensure smooth order processing and partner satisfaction. Track pipeline, follow up on opportunities, and ensure targets are met consistently.

 

What you will do

  • Execute up-sell, cross-sell, and indirect sales opportunities through channel partners.
  • Achievement of quarterly and annual goals by driving revenue and market share goals.
  • Support the Channel Sales Organization to build & execute regional Channel and Business strategies.
  • Establish strong relationships with individual and organizational channel partners.
  • Design, plan, and execute effective marketing and promotional campaigns with key channel partners.
  • Build long-term & successful partnerships through training & enablement, coaching of Channel Partners sales resources.
  • Build, manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by understanding market opportunities, the needs of resellers and customers to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Product/Channel Marketing and Product Management to effectively promote products to resellers and customers.
  • Ensure that product/brand positioning, features and pricing are appropriately addressing market needs.
  • Recruit new resellers to fill the gaps in coverage and penetration in the designated region.
  • Perform wide range of customer selling activities, including sales presentations, product demonstrations/training, etc.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and documentation of operations, including periodic corporate development forecasts and business summaries.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely using effective interpersonal and influencing skills both verbally and in writing.

 

What you will have

  • 2+ years of successful sales or business development experience with domestic and international Partners. 
  • You’re motivated, driven and a self-starter.
  • Proven up-sell, cross-sell and indirect sales experience.
  • Out of the Box & Creative approach towards business development and channel sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and executing successful channel sales strategies and go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in quota achievement and increased sales growth with channel/customers year on year.
  • Relationship building skills at multiple levels within customer and partner channel organizations.
  • Experience in consultative and solution selling.
  • Broad understanding of domestic markets, culture, and customs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
