Responsibilities:

  • Apply machine learning and AI-based automation techniques to solve complex problems in NAND Flash development.
  • Develop intelligent tools and models to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times for initial projections, such as die size and power bussing.
  • Collaborate with the project team at the intersection of AI/ML, silicon development, and pathfinding for new design projects.
  • Augment and accelerate existing build flows using foundational knowledge of design and chip architectures.
  • Take part in brainstorming sessions and offer ideas for innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pusuring a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Cannot graduate before September 2026.
  • Background or coursework in Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, or Systems.
  • Prior experience or academic projects involving hardware‑software interaction or AI applied to systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data-driven techniques.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in real-world silicon development.
  • Basic knowledge of building and chip architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive and ambitious approach, eager to take on challenges and contribute to groundbreaking projects.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$46.51 - $55.82 an hour

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
