Join our Wellington planning team delivering planning advice and resource consents across infrastructure, land development, water, energy and government projects as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams.

What you’ll do: 

  • Prepare resource consent applications, planning assessments, and technical planning reports to a high professional standard
  • Provide planning advice on consenting pathways, regulatory requirements, and project risks under New Zealand planning legislation
  • Contribute planning expertise to multidisciplinary infrastructure and development projects
  • Support proposal preparation and delivery of planning inputs within project timeframes and budgets
  • Provide guidance to junior planners to support capability development within the team

What are we looking for from you?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in planning (or related)
  • Membership of the New Zealand Planning Institute
  • Proven experience in a similar role with 4 - 8 years of experience 
  • A sound understanding and experience working in New Zealand Resource Management legislation 
  • Effective project management skills and strong written and verbal communication
  • A positive, solution-focussed mindset and a desire to work as part of a high-performing team.
