Position Purpose
Manages the development and delivery of executive learning in terms of courses, projects, web resources and other pedagogical tools.  The incumbent provides a bridge between the various interested parties, both within Telfer Executive Programs (TEP) and externally, coordinates the efforts of all parties to maximize the value of the finished product, supports the various programs by conducting surveys, promoting learning, offering internal training, and performing consultations with program participants, instructors, other TEP
personnel and all other external partners.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assists the Director, Program Design and Delivery, in the management of various projects and key stakeholders.
  • Manages team workload, assignments, project monitoring and reporting.
  • Determines and defines project scope and objectives by planning and managing resources needed to reach objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Develops and manages a detailed project schedule and work plan and prepares project budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements and tracks project costs in order to meet budget and timeline.
  • Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Measures project and program performance to identify areas for improvement and monitors progress and adjusts as needed to ensure the meetings of deadlines and projects delivery. As such, also supervises the quality assurance (QA) process as it relates to projects.
  • Manages project and program vendors and suppliers’ relations by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Promotes programs, client relationships and projects by participating in special presentations, meetings or informal discussions with clients, departments, programs, services, and other internal and external interested parties.
  • Researches new standards, methods and/or technologies and the effect of their integration on TEP’s delivery processes and practices.
  • Provides recommendations on new procedures to enhance internal TEP processes   and the quality of the service offerings to clients.

What you will bring:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a pertinent field, or an equivalent combination of education (i.e., education, business) and work experience. 
  • Three years of project management experience, and complex coordination requiring several parties.
  • Experience with the use of mixed online media for the development of educational resources. 
  • Demonstrated experience for coordinating and supporting team projects, requires experience in a multidisciplinary setting. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a proven ability to complete same according to agreed to scope, budget and timelines. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software tools and other software. 
  • Experience with the preparation and presentation of reports which requires excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. 
  • Experience with the preparation of data and reports for senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. 
  • Ability to work independently, to work under pressure of exacting requirements and strict deadlines. 
  • Bilingualism (oral and written)
