What You Will Contribute:
The Finance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and organizing finance and accounting, as well as cross-company cost control and responsibility for improving efficiency, including the development of suitable systems.
Job Duties
Professional and disciplinary management of the accounting department
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to UGB and US-GAAP
Review of monthly and annual financial statements for subsidiaries and ensure compliance with local accounting standards as well as US GAAP
Ensure proper financial communication with Badger Meter HQ and International departments
Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Badger Meter requirements
Develop and oversee budget planning process
Carry out analysis and activities to increase efficiency of company's financial resources
Monitoring of cash flow and preparation of cash flow forecast / planning
Collaboration in projects with financial and tax law issues
Prepare and coordinate tax returns in cooperation with external tax consultants
Prepare and coordinate external financial audits, including recommendations and the conclusions of these audits
Implement, improve and monitor company's internal control procedures
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree: business studies or a related field
5+ years relevant professional experience in accounting and/or controlling (e.g. finance department, auditing, tax consultancy, consulting) and Managment experience desired

Qualifications
Good knowledge of US GAAP
Experience in the creation and implementation of reports and key figures
Experience in the areas of budget planning, cash flow and liquidity planning
Business fluent in German and English
Strong affinity for numbers
Independent, forward-looking and trend-setting personality
Dynamic and performance-oriented hands-on personality
Strong computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
Additional Information
We follow the Collective Agreement for the Metal Industry (valid from 1 Jan 2026). The minimum full‑time gross salary is €4888,37 with the possibility of additional overpayment based on experience and qualifications.
