Job Summary: You will serve as a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST for Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS)

Major Duties:

  • You will plan and carry out all assignments necessary to collect needed intelligence information in the Seoul, Republic of Korea area of responsibility.
  • You will spot, assess, and handle U.S. and non-U.S. citizens who have access to foreign intelligence information that can address national and service-specific collection requirements.
  • You will initiate overt collection strategies and formulate collection operations to develop human source networks in order to target specific requirements and topics.
  • You will prioritize sources with the potential for yielding high quality information-based on first-hand knowledge of assigned area of responsibility and outstanding intelligence requirements.
  • You will brief high-level managers and other key personnel, debriefing sources, gleaning maximum amount of reportable intelligence information.
  • You will produce a high volume of professional quality reporting in a timely and accurate manner, determining the appropriate dissemination to the consumer base.
  • You will maintain overt liaison with personnel within the Service, outside intelligence agencies, operational forces, and allied governments as appropriate to discuss collection requirements and projects.
  • You will organize, coordinate, and carry out engagement opportunities with Host Nation counterparts for NCIS and other Department of Navy leaders.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service .
