1The prospective software engineer will work closely with the Cyber Product Line (CPL) Risk Management team and leadership to support the Risk Management (RM) community and its partners. They have proven skillsets in end-to-end software development, architecture concepts, troubleshooting, and collaboration.
The CPL RM DevOps team is a high performing agile team supports SAAS applications and develops and maintains internally developed solutions that enable Chevron to effectively identify, detect, manage, and respond to IT Risk across Chevron.
The Risk Management Software Engineer:
Has the ability to execute and deliver value in collaboration with stakeholders and across other software engineering and technical teams.
Develops software solutions meets performance and security requirements by leveraging established Chevron technology standards.
Maintains working knowledge of the latest software engineering tools, supported software solutions such as ServiceNow, OneTrust, SecurityScorecard, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Power Platform.
Can serve as a feature owner that oversees the delivery of user stories.
Actively participates in Agile Ceremonies to identify and prioritize work based upon Chevron's IT strategic focus areas, cybersecurity strategic themes, evolving cyber threats, and dynamic stakeholder requirements.
Advocates recognized software development practices in the team covering testing, modularity, scalability, observability and integration.
Executes and guides continuous integration, unit tests, code coverage, code analysis, and automated testing requirements.
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
