Integration Lead1
Job Title: Salesforce Integration Lead Role Level: TE5/6
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Design
- Design and implement scalable integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems such as ERP, marketing automation, data warehouses, and third-party applications.
- Define integration architecture, patterns, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate integration tools and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica).
Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end integration projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers and integration engineers.
- Review technical designs and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
Development & Implementation
- Develop and maintain integrations using Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming), Platform Events, Apex callouts, External Services, and Named Credentials.
- Implement middleware-based integrations using platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar tools.
Data Management & Security
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across integrated systems.
- Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and IT teams to understand integration requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical integration solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Optimize integration processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Implement performance tuning and system monitoring.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years specifically in Salesforce integrations.
- Proven experience leading integration projects and hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs and integration technologies.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Salesforce Platform and architecture, Apex, SOQL, and the Salesforce data model.
- Expertise in REST and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, data transformation, and integration patterns (request/response, batch, event-driven).
- Strong knowledge of middleware platforms, with a preference for MuleSoft.
- Experience with authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
Tools & Technologies
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform.
- MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or equivalent middleware.
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Monitoring and logging tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer, or Salesforce Application/System Architect.
- MuleSoft certification.
- Experience with enterprise-level integration architecture.
