As the nation’s leading health solutions company, we reach millions of Americans through our local presence, digital channels and more than 300,000 purpose-driven colleagues – caring for people where, when and how they choose in a way that is uniquely more connected, more convenient and more compassionate. And we do it all with heart, each and every day.

Position Summary

Oak Street Health, a CVS company, contains a rich ecosystem of applications that each has its unique capabilities. The Integration Engineering team connects the different parts of this ecosystem by building enterprise quality integrations that fuel near-real time patient experiences. This centralized team is also the foundation of Oak Street Health’s Integration Center of Excellence, creating robust design patterns, reference implementations, and reusable building blocks.

As an Integration Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of 3-4 Engineers that create these integrations with an emphasis on quality, scalability, and simplicity. You and your teams will be challenged to bring software engineering practices and patterns to the integration space in order to democratize capabilities across the enterprise.

There is no better time to join our rapidly growing team at Oak Street Health. We can’t think of a mission any more motivating; and, with your help, we can drive change in healthcare for the patients that need us most.

This role will report directly to the Executive Director of Data Platforms and can be full-time remote.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and guide a team of Integration Engineers in delivering high-quality integrations following strategic patterns.
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of iPaaS-based integration projects, from planning and requirements gathering to execution, testing, and deployment.

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Integration Engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Develop a team of Integration Engineers both technically and functionally with the overall goal of having this team lead the Center of Excellence as we federate out our Integration solution.
  • Create a comprehensive process of federation with the goal of onboarding other engineering teams and empowering them to develop their own integrations using the Integration Platform.
  • Proactively manage technical debt in the integrations stack to ensure long-term sustainability and performance.
  • Manage resource planning and future hiring.
  • Own and manage the vendor relationship with our Integration provider.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience integrating with Salesforce Developer APIs, Kafka, and cloud storage.
  • Curiosity to learn OSH’s unique care model and how your work contributes to positive patient outcomes.  Embody being “Oaky”.

  • Proactive self-starter, able to navigate you and your team through ambiguity and uncertainty and effectively advocate for team and work they are doing.
  • Empathetic and ability to work in a collaborative, team environment where everyone has a voice.
