About the role

We're looking for an Integrated Planning Senior Manager to lead high-impact initiatives and transformation efforts across our global COO and Content organizations. Reporting to the Senior Director, COO Initiatives you’ll operate across teams, regions, and cultures, including deep collaboration with Japan-based partners and key industry stakeholders, to strengthen Crunchyroll’s portfolio and long-term competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring measurable strategic and financial outcomes
  • Establish governance frameworks, timelines, and performance tracking to drive accountability and disciplined execution
  • Identify risks, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum across distributed global teams and stakeholders
  • Own and evolve the integrated roadmap of key initiatives, including coordination and value capture across the broader Sony ecosystem
  • Translate emerging opportunities, risks, and market dynamics into strategic recommendations; support executive alignment on priorities and cascade into clear roadmaps
  • Develop compelling strategic narratives and executive-ready presentations for internal and external audiences, including senior leadership engagements
  • Serve as a key bridge between Crunchyroll and Japanese partners (studios, licensors, production committees), navigating cultural, operational, and commercial nuances
  • Strengthen cross-border collaboration and long-term partnerships critical to Crunchyroll’s content strategy and competitive advantage
  • Act as a consultative partner to senior leaders, bringing structure to ambiguity and guiding decision-making in a fast-moving environment

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.

  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and transformation efforts with measurable business and financial impact
  • Strong understanding of global streaming economics, subscription models, and content value chains
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Structured, consultative problem solver who can navigate ambiguity and drive clarity across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in highly complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Strong program management skills, including governance, planning, and performance tracking
