ROLE SUMMARY Role Purpose: Perform any Instrumentation work allocated by the Instrument manager, carry out minor and major tasks in the plant, workshop or at any other Solenis facility during production / operation processes without direct supervision to ensure the plant instrumentation and control is in good condition to supply the sales and marketing team with the correct product on time and within specification. Responsibilities: Maintain, program, repair and calibrate all process instrumentation and pneumatic equipment Field instrumentation · Hardware installation · Racking and cabling · Calibration and standardizing · Commissioning Packaging systems · Coding and batch printing · Auto fillers · Pneumatics · Ethernet IP · Robotic systems ETC. Performs any allocated work from Projects or any other Solenis directive department as required. Applies preventive, predictive, and reactive tasks according to Solenis standards and procedures. Manage and supervise any team as and when required Resolve urgent plant problems. Installation and programming on control system Software on PLC and DCS · Programming and coding · HMI design · Installation · Backups · Industrial Ethernet networks · Manage Asset Centre · Function Block / Ladder logic on Siemens and Allen Bradly PLC’s and Varispeed frequency inverters May coach and instruct other team members, Reporting of all equipment / plant deviations, Plan work and solve problems Enforce safety, quality and housekeeping through ongoing communication. Assist in technical queries. Adhoc duties as requested by any senior employee Perform standby and overtime duties as per Solenis policies.
MINIMUM CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS,
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS · Basic Computer skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Trade test Certificate Instrumentation · N3 minimum · Own transport and valid driver license · Self-starter · Hands-on · Industrial plant knowledge · Minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience
