The opportunity
We have two exciting opportunities for Instructional Designers to join QBE on 6‑month fixed‑term contracts, supporting an update to our claims operations by focusing on the NSW legislative changes relating to psychological injury claims. This is a pure instructional design role focused on building high‑quality digital learning assets for both internal and external audiences.
Your new role
Design and develop digital learning content to support legislative and process changes within Claims
Translate operating instructions and policy requirements into clear, practical learning materials
Create learner‑friendly assets such as Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), process walkthroughs and system‑based learning content
Support learning design for internal teams and external customers (e.g. brokers, service providers)
Partner closely with Claims subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance
Contribute to learning solutions aligned to process governance and compliance requirements
Apply and maintain agreed design standards and learning governance
About you
Proven experience as an Instructional Designer developing digital learning solutions
Strong capability in translating operational content (SOPs, policies, process documentation) into engaging learning
Experience designing learning for change initiatives, such as regulatory/legislative change
Exposure to digital authoring and design platforms such as: Articulate, Vyond, Visme, Genially, Microsoft Office 365
Experience or confidence creating learning content for external audiences or clients
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work at pace with changing priorities
