Temporary position for 12 months.
As an instructional designer, Desjardins agent network, you are involved with the creation of learning solutions that satisfy training gaps, modernize current material, and simplify content in a way that learners can easily engage with and understand. More specifically, you will be required to:
Diagnose performance issues, challenges, and learning needs to define clear target outcomes
Conduct training needs analyses and develop training plans aligned to learner and organizational goals
Design, develop, and coordinate learning solutions that address training gaps, modernize content, and simplify complex information
Create engaging training materials using effective instructional and writing techniques
Apply design best practices, including the 80/20 rule, to develop impactful and learner‑focused experiences
Coordinate design projects, collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
Deliver and evaluate learning experiences through pilots, follow‑up sessions, and learner feedback
Maintain training content annually by incorporating SME input, reviewing participation and effectiveness, and evaluating content shelf life

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of three years of relevant experience
Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Advanced intermediate knowledge of instructional design and adult learning practices
