Job Description & Qualifications:
Provide student-focused, IT classroom-based support to engage students, adapt instruction as needed, and monitor student progress to improve persistence and retention in core IT courses. NTC is hiring an Instructional Assistant for: Client-Side Web Scripting, Software Architecture, Introduction to Programming, Data Concepts, Programming Concepts, Object Oriented Programming, Web Design 1, Database Design and SQL, Network Communications 1-CISCO 1, Network Communications 2-CISCO 2, and more. In addition to the 4 hours a week in the classroom, 2 hours of additional on-campus work would be available. Interested candidates may work as Instructional Assistants for more than one course, not to exceed 18 hours per week. This is a grant-funded position and is a temporary, Limited Term Employee (LTE) position.

Sufficient knowledge in IT subject area; (earned a B or better in the course they will be assisting with); familiar with myNTC and Workday; and able to maneuver Canvas. Good organizational skills, positive interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills required. Ability to maintain confidentiality required.
