Qualifications
- Prior experience with high-value capital goods (trucking/industrial equipment). Agriculture equipment and/or construction equipment is highly preferred.
- Proven sales success in which goals were achieved or exceeded.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong independent work ethic, able to collaborate with internal staff to achieve individual as well as branch goals.
- Excellent customer service skills; a builder of relationships.
- Clear and concise communications.
- A strong sense of urgency, focusing on time management.
- Strong computer skills with a priority on Microsoft Office programs.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers through effective communication by making outbound calls to potential new customers. PROFICIENCY WITH COLD CALLING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
- Maintain current customer relationships by communicating with them consistently to positively affect the NPS targets
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of construction machinery features, benefits, and applications to recommend suitable equipment to collaborate with customers, either in-person or over the phone
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of current and prospective customers via the company's CRM (HubSpot)
- Understand current OEM and 3rd party finance programs to remain competitive in the market
- Research and qualify new leads to enhance your sales pipeline, aiming to close sales and meet or exceed sales targets
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to sharpen your skills
- Act as liaison between parts, service, and equipment sales departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Quoting & Ordering: Generate accurate sales quotes, purchase orders, and invoices using CRM or ERP systems
- Partner with outside sales reps to manage customer relationships and ensure timely delivery.
- This is an in-office role, interacting via the phone, or with walk-in customers
