JOB SCOPE

As Team Lead, Product Specialists – Separations (Services / Aftermarket, Americas), you will lead the day-to-day activities of a regional team supporting FLSmidth’s Flotation, Thickening, and Reflux aftermarket portfolio across NAMER and SAMER. The role combines hands-on process expertise with people leadership and commercial ownership to drive aftermarket growth, increase service penetration, and deliver measurable customer value across the equipment lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and develop the Americas Separations Product Specialists team, setting clear priorities and ensuring consistent, high-quality aftermarket support.

2. Drive aftermarket growth through spares, upgrades, optimisation, and lifecycle service offerings for flotation, thickening, and reflux technologies.

3. Lead site audits and optimisation studies, identifying performance improvement and debottlenecking opportunities and converting them into FLSmidth aftermarket solutions.

4. Develop and execute the regional Services growth strategy in close collaboration with sales and service teams.

5. Act as a technical authority for separations processes, supporting customer engagement and the closure of complex aftermarket opportunities.

6. Capture and analyse customer, market, and competitor insights to inform Services strategy, portfolio development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING

1. Direct, hands-on experience with flotation, thickening, and/or reflux technologies

2. Broad mineral processing experience across multiple commodities, including copper, nickel, gold, coal, and iron ore.

3. Proven experience leading technical or specialist teams, with accountability for performance and results, or be at a stage in your career where you are ready for the next step.

4. Demonstrated success in aftermarket business development and strategy execution.

5. Strong commercial and customer-facing skills, with the ability to influence technical and commercial stakeholders.

6. English Fluency is require, Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency is advantageous
