About the Role and the Client:

MarketStar is looking for an Inside Sales Representative with French based in Sofia, Bulgaria (onsite) to be part of the dedicated team for one of our strategic programs.  You will proactively engage with inbound leads, generate outbound opportunities, and contribute to the achievement of new revenue and account acquisition targets. In this role, you will identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling, acting as a trusted consultant and payments expert. Your efforts will be instrumental in building a robust sales pipeline and driving the growth of the product ecosystem.

What Will You Do?  

  • Proactive Lead Engagement: Engage inbound leads from web forms and partners, understand their business needs, and convert them into qualified sales opportunities
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted solutions consultant and payment expert, presenting tailored solutions that best fit each client’s needs
  • Outbound Sales Activities: Proactively identify and pursue potential customers through research, networking, and outbound cold calling
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing: Confidently discuss pricing, terms, and conditions with customers, close deals, and consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets
  • Revenue & Account Growth: Drive new revenue and new account acquisition by successfully closing deals and onboarding customers into the productecosystem
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring a smooth sales experience and strong engagement after the sale
  • CRM & Sales Reporting: Accurately track all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in HubSpot. Provide regular updates on performance, forecasts, and results
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the wider sales team and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, strategy, and customer success

What Will You Need To Succeed?  

  • At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, outbound sales, or business development, including cold calling and deal closing
  • Strong sales skills over the phone, with confidence handling objections and guiding customers toward commitment
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Experience working with CRM systems; HubSpot experience is a strong advantage.
  • A proactive, can-do, go-getter attitude with the ability to take ownership of results.
  • Proven ability to commit to pursuing customers, follow up consistently, and drive deals to closure
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • A target-driven, self-motivated mindset with a consultative approach to sales.

The pay for this position is basic salary per annum of 21720 - 26064 Euro gross per year. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
