As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll grow the customer base and drive branch profitability by building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering value-added plumbing solutions that meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a 90%+ customer satisfaction score. You’ll engage customers through proactive outreach, accurate quoting, and timely follow-ups to ensure project success and repeat business.

  • Confidence in proactive selling, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, delivering accurate quotes, and ensuring timely follow-up that drives repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent account management skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, timelines, and priorities while ensuring seamless project execution and on-time order fulfillment.
  • A strategic, insights-driven approach to monitoring sales trends, forecasting opportunities, and implementing initiatives that consistently improve regional performance.
  • A consultative, solutions-focused selling mindset that leverages expert product knowledge to recommend optimal solutions aligned with project goals and profitability.
  • A customer-first attitude with the flexibility to step in wherever needed to support customers, strengthen relationships, and maintain a high standard of service.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management in a wholesale distribution, plumbing supply, or construction-related industry.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems - Eclipse
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer value.

Following is a list of physical and mental requirements identified as necessary to achieve the essential functions of this role:

  • Attendance – Ability to maintain the scheduled days and hours, including onsite presence at the assigned location as specified.
  • Physical Capacities – Lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Operation of Office Equipment — Job requires operation of equipment common to office settings, including computers, copiers, and other office equipment, including Near Vision, Manual Dexterity, and working in proximity to equipment.
  • Oral Communication Skills – Speaking, Speech Clarity, and Speech Recognition.
